ARBURG, a German family-owned company, is one of the leading global manufacturers of plastic processing machines. The product portfolio encompasses ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines with clamping forces of between 125 and 6,500 kN, the freeformer for industrial additive manufacturing and robotic systems, customer- and industry-specific turnkey solutions and further peripherals. An international sales and service network ensures first-class, local customer support: ARBURG is represented by its own organisations at 33 locations in 25 countries and by trading partners in more than 50 countries. The machines are produced exclusively at the parent company in Lossburg, Germany. Of a total of around 3,000 employees, around 2,500 work in Germany. About 500 further employees work in ARBURG’s organisations around the world. In 2012, ARBURG became one of the first companies to gain triple certification: to ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 50001 (Energy).
With ARBURG machine technology, plastic parts from high-volume production to single-unit batches can be produced in optimum quality at minimum unit costs - e. g. for the automotive and packaging industries, electronics, medical technology or white goods sectors. The ARBURG product portfolio for plastics processing comprises modular electric, hybrid, hydraulic and vertical ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 125 to 6,500 kN, which can be equipped to meet customer and industry-specific requirements. With the freeformer for industrial additive manufacturing, ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) can be used to produce functional components individually or in small-volume batches from qualified standard granulates. The product range is completed by the central SELOGICA control system developed and built by ARBURG, the ARBURG host computer system (ALS) as a central component of Industry 4.0, as well as robotic systems, complex turnkey systems and other peripheral equipment.
GOLDEN ELECTRIC: Comprehensively standardised entry-level model at an unbeatable price.
Production of LSR/LSR wristwatches will be showcased as as a benchmark for what is currently possible using LSR processing. A hydraulic two-component ALLROUNDER 570 S fully automatically produces two bicolour wrist straps made from the LSR materials Silopren 2670 (hardness 70 Shore A) and 2630 (hardness 30 Shore A) in a cycle time of 70 seconds.
The patented ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) process allows you to tap into a whole new range of options for industrial additive manufacturing. Our open freeformer system can produce functional parts using qualified standard granulates. Layer-by-layer application of tiny plastic droplets.

A freeformer 200-3X for industrial additive manufacturing as well as various functional components made from only recently qualified materials will be presented at Chinaplas 2019. In addition, ARBURG’s portfolio includes the new freeformer 300-3X – a large, three-component machine that can produce complex and resilient functional components in hard/soft combinations, made from two plastic components plus support material.
The open ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) system offers great freedom in terms of materials. Users can process their own original materials and optimise droplet size as well as process control themselves. The process is based on qualified plastics in the form of inexpensive granulates, which are also used in injection moulding.
ARBURG has more than 30 years of know-how in IT-networked production. The portfolio ranges from digital assistance packages, predictive maintenance and remote service to the new customer portal and Arburg's own MES, the ALS host computer system. All machine exhibits are networked via ALS.
The new customer portal, which will be presented for the first time in a Chinese version, provides a variety of services in a clear and well coordinated manner using a cloud-based solution. The central applications (apps) include the "Machine Center", which contains important information and documents for each machine, the "Shop" and the "Service Center". In addition, visitors have the opportunity to find out more about the six digital ARBURG assistance packages for starting, setting up, optimising, producing, monitoring and servicing ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines and experience the potential of augmented reality (AR).
