The new, powerful HX Select series extruder is ideally suited for processing materials such as LLDPE, mLLDPE and PCR (Post Customer Recycled) and bioplastics. Hosokawa Alpine has developed a high-efficiency cooling system for blown film extrusion. The system, developed from scratch, consists of the Alpine CRX cooling ring series for outer cooling and the Alpine HT cooling tower for inner cooling. Energy-efficient cooling ring for outer cooling. The cooling ring is a key factor in energy-efficient film production. For the Alpine CRX series, we opted for a  lowcounterpressure system. This allows us to make more efficient use of the available cooling capacity and increase line throughput.
