The Turret Winder ATW-I was developed in particular for non-stop winding within plastic film and nonwoven production lines. By its modular design the adaption to any production situation is very easy. This includes various machine sizes as well as different automatic reel change systems and different integrated longitudinal cutting devices for edge trimming and multiple web slitting. Also flexible reel handling solutions are available.
A special highlight for the finished reel handling is the integrated winding shaft ex- tractor of the Turret Winder ATW-I. By direct pulling of the winding shaft within the unloading position of the winder short cycle times are reached and additional devices as unloading fork arms or external shaft extractors are obsolete. Furthermore with this arrangement the switch cabinet can be placed directly at the winder if desired.
The TAC System needs one stripe of double sided adhesive tape on the core, this system is mainly used for soft film. The web don’t need to be wrapped around the new core before cut and there is no stress of the material during the roll change process.
