The new generation of melt index measurements is embodied by the mi40 from GÖTTFERT. Users in incoming goods and quality control (QC) departments experience the advantage of an automated and more accurate determination of MFR (Melt Flow Rate) and MVR (Melt Volume Rate) according to ASTM D1238 and ISO 1133.
The new viscosity option for the Melt Flow Indexer mi40 has been developed to perform measurements according to the standardized Capillary Rheometer standard ISO 11443.

The entry model of the newly developed high-pressure capillary-rheometer series from GÖTTFERT is a rheometer with a test load of 20 kN. In addition to viscosity measurements according to ISO 11443, the RHEOGRAPH 20, or RG20 for short, can also be used to determine other material properties by means of various add-ons. We also offer a wide range of capillaries and additional options that make it possible to adapt the device perfectly to your application
