Drying chambers
We offer a system of drying chambers or smaller drying cabinets that can be individually adapted to your exact needs in your processes. We design and manufacture these for all areas of industry, laboratory or research.
Standardised basic equipment – countless possibilities
The basic configuration of our drying cabinets and drying chambers is also defined in the same way. We offer you:
Stainless steel inner housing – resistant to aggressive media and easy to clean
Heating via tubular heating elements in the cross-flow of the circulating air turbines
Powerful air circulation turbines and motors
Horizontal air circulation, with wall preheating
Electronic control with high-quality PID controllers with self-optimisation
High-quality PT 100 sensors in 3-wire connection
Temperature limiter according to EN 60519-2, class 2, for product protection
We basically offer three series: each for a maximum temperature of up to 250 degrees Celsius, 400 degrees Celsius and 650 degrees Celsius.
Drying chamber type “H-Dry”: conventional, but efficient
The conventional drying chamber or the “H-Dry” drying cabinet or laboratory drying cabinet variant works according to the standard principle:
Ambient air is drawn in, heated and fed into the drying chamber so that the product moisture can be absorbed and removed via the exhaust air. This is inexpensive to purchase, but often somewhat more demanding in terms of energy consumption. H-Dry is therefore energy-optimised and offers high performance with manageable energy requirements.
K-Dry drying cabinet: for high requirements and lower energy consumption
K-Dry is a drying cabinet for relatively high humidity with moderate temperature and energy requirements. The K-Dry is used for drying dripping wet parts. The “K-Dry” has a drying air generator, but works with a cold trap and heat pump, so that a lot of water can be separated in an energy-saving way and at the lowest moisture level.
We have optimised this type in the segment between conventional drying chamber and ultra-dryer and thus created an ideal all-round drying chamber. This is because conventional drying chambers require a minimum temperature and can remove large amounts of moisture. Ultra-drying chambers operate almost at room temperature and allow a low humidity level at a dew point of around -20 degrees Celsius. In the intermediate range at high humidity and low temperature, the “K-Dry” has now been developed. It reaches a dew point of around 0 degrees Celsius and can thus be used at moderate drying temperatures and high humidity levels.
The warm exhaust air from the drying air generator is used to preheat the supply air to the drying cabinet. This heat recovery results in energy savings of more than 50% for the entire system.
Drying cabinet type “U-Dry”: gentle drying with drying air
The “U-Dry” is one of the ultra-drying chambers and produces a minimum moisture level with moderate temperature and energy requirements: Ultra-drying chambers or ultra-drying ovens work independently of the ambient air and its humidity. That is why the “U-Dry” is the right choice for high-quality drying of electronic components (IPC / JEDEC 033 A) and high-quality plastics that are not suitable for a hot-air dryer.
The drying cabinet works like a granulate dryer with a drying air generator: it can be used for material-friendly and energy-saving drying regardless of the season and the corresponding air humidity.
Drying cabinet and drying chamber with explosion protection? Here you go!
Especially in drying processes, not only water but also explosive substances can evaporate and thus form ignitable mixtures. That’s why we also offer our drying ovens and drying chambers as explosion-proof units. You can find out more about this by using the attached button.
Cooling chambers and cabinets
Wherever it is important to cool down or keep products cool in the process, our cooling chambers and cabinets are an ideal choice: We offer – as with the other products in our portfolio – basic configuration for all cooling chambers and cabinets that can be optimally adapted for your purposes.
Basic configuration and customised design for your cooling needs in production and laboratories
Freely selectable temperature ranges
The final configuration of your cooling chamber or cabinet depends on the task you want it to fulfil optimally. Our systems are equipped as standard with cooling down to -20 degrees Celsius and heating up to 120 degrees Celsius. Of course, we can also implement other temperature ranges on almost any scale for your application.
From small cooling cabinet and inline cooling system to cooling chamber with drivable floor
The construction of your system is fully tailored to your needs: We can build a small cooling cabinet with your desired features as well as a floor-level cooling chamber with drivable floor, or we can design and manufacture a fully integrated cooling system for your production line, for example as a continuous tunnel with conveyor units between the infeed and outfeed areas. On request, all solutions can also be integrated into an Industry 4.0 environment with digital control.
Cooling with refrigerant or evaporative cooling
In addition to conventional cooling with a refrigeration cycle, we can also offer the much simpler evaporative cooling design. This design is usually very compact and the higher operating costs of this technology fade into the background if the cooling is only rarely needed.
Humidification and conditioning chambers
To maintain material properties, it is often essential to preserve the moisture in a product, even in thermal processes: Humidification and conditioning chambers make exactly that possible. They allow the moisture content to be maintained at the desired level despite heating in a cabinet or chamber.
Ensure consistent quality, precisely control moisture content
Humidification chambers or conditioning chambers are, for example, often used in plastics processing. With them, moisture control is still possible even at elevated chamber temperatures. Very moist products are thus dried in a targeted manner, preventing them from drying out too quickly. In this way, mechanical and geometric properties in the product are maintained to ensure a safe process flow or to prevent warpage.
Without humidification, a product – depending on the season – absorbs moisture very slowly or unevenly until asymptotic material behaviour is achieved. In production, however, process reliability is important; parts must always have the same material properties in order to achieve consistent quality throughout, regardless of the season and storage time.
With the humidification chamber, the material is brought to its desired water content, preferably to the natural content.
Basic configuration and individual design
As in all product areas around tempering and climate chambers for industry and laboratories, we can offer you a perfect basis for your optimal conditioning chamber with a solid basic construction with many advantages:
Inner housing made of stainless steel for easy cleaning, resistant to aggressive materials
Heating via tubular heating elements in the cross-flow of the circulating air turbines

Electric burner
The versatile, safe alternative to the Bunsen burner: instead of a gas connection as with the Bunsen burner, which brings its own risks (unintentional gas leakage, risk of explosion), you simply use a normal socket. The electric laboratory burner generates a glowing stream of air as a universally usable heat source in the laboratory.
The advantages of the electric burner at a glance: safe, clean, can be used anywhere
Compared to the gas-powered Bunsen burner, our electric burner offers distinct advantages that make it the superior alternative in the laboratory environment:
clean and odorless working in a normal atmosphere
no soot and no reducing flame effect
uniform heating, no local overheating
no risk of fire, explosion or poisoning due to escaping gas
Can be used anywhere thanks to simple mains connection to a 220 volt socket
Basically, the electric laboratory burner can be used as a stand-alone unit or together with a stand and/or heat output regulator for stepless heat regulation.
The electric burner at a glance: the technical features
The laboratory electric burner is constructed as follows:
Stack made of heat-, acid- and alkali-resistant ceramic material with continuous opening, diameter 38 mm.
Enclosed heating system design, thus insensitive to overflowing fluid.
After a short heating time, the inside of the stack is red hot and a strong stream of hot air emerges at the top.
There is no limitation on the working time as long as needed. The unit can be easily switched on and off by the shock- proofed plug with included toggle switch or using the power regulator.
A square tube on the inside of the stack, made of heat- resistant and acid- resistant alloy, serves as a heat exchanger and is electrically isolated.
Just connect it to the electrical plug in the laboratory.
Flasks and dishes can be put straight on the 6 small elevation on the top of the stack. Additionally we have a glass support, shown below.
overall- size 17cm or 6.6″ in height
base diameter is 12.5 cm or 5″
power rating is 811 W/230 V/50 Hz
