About us
As a multinational company, tesa develops innovative adhesive tapes and self-adhesive product solutions for various industries, commercial customers, and end consumers. There are already more than 7,000 tesa adhesive solutions that help improve the work, products or lives of our customers. Today, the focus is on sustainability and energy-saving processes. tesa invests in the development of environmentally friendly products and solvent-free manufacturing processes as well as in the use of renewable energy sources at its locations.
tesa has been represented in China for over 25 years with a regional headquarter in Shanghai and employs around 850 people locally. Since 2005, tesa has been producing precision adhesive tapes at Site Suzhou, for both established and emerging industries — through close collaboration with our customers to meet the evolving demands of dynamic markets. In 2019, the plant was extensively expanded and equipped with state-of-the-art cleanroom technology. A Customer Solution Center and a product and technology development department were set up to develop tailored solutions with customers on site.
