About us

HORO Dr. Hofmann GmbH was founded in 1945 by Dr.-Ing. Artur Hofmann and Gerhard Roth in Esslingen / Neckar, near Stuttgart in Germany.

HORO became well known to customers in the heat and drying technology field based on the patents, the research and development and the customized solutions.

Science and industry have always trusted in the precision and the long
durability of our products.

A major step into the future was the takeover by Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Bosch in 2004, combining long time experience with modern engineering. Motivated and experienced co-workers use their knowledge to the benefit of the customers.

From the initial idea, the concept of the plant and the integration of the
customers’ needs, HORO is the partner you can trust. After delivery, the service continues for the whole product life-time. Special design,
EX-proofed applications and customized build-ins, interfaces for control systems, quality assurance etc.

Heating cabinets – Drying chambers

Cooling chambers and cabinets Conditioning chambers

The final configuration of cooling chamber or cabinet depends on the task you want it to fulfil optimally. Our systems are equipped as standard with cooling down to -20 degrees Celsius and heating up to 120 degrees Celsius.
Humidification chambers or conditioning chambers are often used in plastics processing. Very moist products are thus dried in a targeted manner, preventing them from drying out too quickly.

Electric-Laboratory-Burner

The versatile, safe alternative to the Bunsen burner: instead of a gas connection as with the Bunsen burner, which brings its own risks (unintentional gas leakage, risk of explosion), you simply use a normal socket. The electric laboratory burner generates a glowing stream of air as a universally usable heat source in the laboratory.
